I have been in real estate for several years. Beginning in 1985, I have purchased and owned several homes and have been an active real estate consultant since 2006. During my career, I've earned the REALTOR®, Seniors Real Estate Specialist®, and Pricing Strategy Adviser designations along the way.
Through study and years of hands-on experience, I have acquired an intimate knowledge of our local real estate market. Before starting my real estate career, I owned and operated corporations since 2001. You learn to wear a lot of hats when you're self-employed. Practicing real estate requires a broad skill set. I often draw on my background and acquired skills to achieve a positive result from a challenging situation. Additionally, a certain amount of tact comes in handy when negotiating deals between parties who may not get along.
I grew up in Monte Sereno and Saratoga, California, and I am a fourth-generation Santa Clara Valley resident. My grandfather started one of the first law firms in San Jose in 1923 — Campbell, Warburton, Fitzsimmons, Smith, Mendell & Pastore — where our father later joined him. Their firm is still in business today. If you are familiar with me or anyone in my family, you know we have a reputation for loyalty, honesty, and ethics. I will do the right thing.
After 18 wonderful years at a boutique real estate office, I’m excited to begin a new chapter as an affiliate of Century 21® — a globally recognized and respected real estate brand — alongside my colleague and broker of 10 years, Karen Xu.
